At the 2013 General Assembly, open the debate and hear our side of the story. Form a committee to examine sexual identity and marriage issue to report findings at General Assembly 2017.
Why is this important?
We were a Church that was founded on loving the marginalized of society. The LGBT community is a minority population group being overlooked and mistreated by the Church. Nazarenes can do a better job of handling this issue, we can no longer accept silence from our leaders, answers devoid of practical merit, or true understanding of the issues.
We need to create a safe space for the our LGBT members.
How it will be delivered
The signatures will be given to the General Superintendents in Lenexa.
